The ideal time to begin admissions advising is spring of junior year or the summer before senior year. Seniors are still welcome depending on timelines and needs. Graduate school applicants are welcome

12 months | Juniors and rising seniors

Full Journey Advising provides comprehensive, year-long support for students who want guidance through every stage of the college admissions process.

Support typically includes:

  • College list development grounded in academic, personal, and social fit

  • Exploration of majors, interests, and long-term goals

  • Strategic planning around extracurricular involvement and leadership

  • Personal statement brainstorming, drafting, and revision

  • Supplemental essay strategy and feedback

  • Activities list and resume development

  • Guidance on letters of recommendation and application timelines

  • Application review prior to submission

  • Support interpreting admissions decisions and navigating final enrollment choices

This option is best for students who want consistent support, accountability, and the space to approach the process thoughtfully rather than reactively.

6 months | Seniors

Application Phase Support is designed for seniors who already have a general sense of their college list but need structure, strategy, and accountability to complete their applications.

Support typically includes:

  • Refining and finalizing the college list

  • Creating a clear application timeline and deadline plan

  • Personal statement and supplemental essay support

  • Activities list and application content review

  • Ongoing check-ins to keep students on track

This option works well for students who do not need early exploration but want guidance to stay organized and submit strong, complete applications.

6–8 weeks | Undergraduate and graduate applicants

Personal Statement Coaching is short-term, focused support for applicants who want in-depth guidance on developing a strong, authentic personal statement.

Support typically includes:

  • Developing a clear narrative and structure

  • Multiple rounds of feedback and revision

  • Support with voice, reflection, and clarity

Graduate-level support focuses on clarity of purpose, academic and professional alignment, and reflective storytelling appropriate for advanced study.
